I have had my anticipated success: none.
180 books sent – at least 4000 – 8000 candidates at high school final exam – 16 entry notices.
No reaction of intelligence from BRD, authors, writers, etc. (to write with words “peace, freedom, etc.” for “a living,” profession)
But the ONE – comes. By bicycle.
And thus, a total success for me.
But no reaction from the publishing company S. Fischer!
Hooray for German indifference: democracy, dictatorship and today: demo-tura (Demo-kratur).
But first initiative???
I am wasted here
I am curious
I work alone (without[2] others)
I know Germans (I always live among Germans)
But the language is German (and I know no other languages!) –
I wanted proof of German indifference and human indifference in general … a consolation for my desperation and a stimulus for my hope: young man 16-21 years old! Maybe!
I realize the absurdity – but I talk: thou shalt not kill.[3]
