En revenant de mes vacances, j’ai trouvé les trois exemplaires de l’anthologie «Auschwitz»; je tiens non seulement à Vous remercier, mais aussi à Vous déclarer que j’ai été frappé par le sérieux et la dignité de l’ouvrage, et surtout par la précision des «cross-references» contenues dans les Notes finales. Le livre ne peut qu’honorer ses éditeurs, et par reflexe tous les camarades d’Auschwitz.

Upon returning from my vacation, I found the three copies of the “Auschwitz” anthology; I want not only to thank you, but also to tell you that I was struck by the solemnity and dignity of the work, and especially by the precision of the cross-references contained in the final Notes. The book can only do honor to its publishers, and by reflection to all our Auschwitz comrades.
